MARKET WATCH! In the month of October 2015 the Median Sale Price for single-family, detached homes was up 5.71% from last year to $185,000 and the Average Sale Price inched up to $216,252. Home Sales was 835, up 10.16%. The Absorption Rate (number of months it would take to sell the current housing inventory) continues to favor Sellers at 4.72 (6-months is equilibrium) and the Average Days on the Market continues to be down to only 59 days. We don’t know about you, but this is The Sugar Team’s favorite time of year. The leaves turn color to a beautiful burnt orange, the temperature starts to drop, making it more comfortable to slip under those warm covers, and the aroma of pumpkin pie fills the air.
